I’m Jaye Cheray, an event planner, community builder, and the person who enjoys organizing all the moving pieces behind a meaningful gathering.
For the past eight years, I’ve been planning events that bring people together. What began as a passion has grown into purposeful work, combining my gift for organization with my love of creating spaces where people feel welcome and connected.
Helping You Make Room for What Matters
An event can mean a lot to you and still take more time to plan than you have available. Finding a venue, communicating with vendors, managing volunteers, coordinating food and beverage, building a timeline, attendee communications, and keeping everything moving can quickly become numerous hours of work.
That’s where I come in.
Through Jaye Cheray Events, I help organizations and individuals manage the planning and logistics, from the early details through event day. My approach is thoughtful, organized, and personal. I take time to understand your goals, keep track of the moving pieces, and help you feel prepared so you can be present for the experience you’re creating.
I’m also an Emory Certified Event Planner, bringing formal training alongside years of hands-on experience.

My faith shapes how I serve others, and I believe building community is part of my God-given purpose.
I’m also the founder of Coffee for Singles, an Atlanta-based community that brings single adults together through alcohol free, coffee-centered events, outings, and shared elevated experiences. Creating and hosting those gatherings has deepened my appreciation for the details that help people feel comfortable, start conversations, and form connections.
That same care carries into every event I manage, whether it’s a community gathering, ministry event, reunion, or personal celebration.

Outside of planning events, you’ll likely find me enjoying the outdoors, traveling, trying a new restaurant, or exploring Atlanta’s coffee scene. I’m a coffee connoisseur with a love for quality, single-origin coffees and discovering new places to enjoy them.
